Internationally renowned choreographers La Ribot (ES/CH) and Mathilde Monnier (FR), present «Gustavia» in Teatro San Martín in the framework of the Contemporary Dance Festival of Buenos Aires, and in Teatro Sodre of Montevideo in the Festival Cervantino. The performances in Montevideo were carried out in collaboration with Spanish Cooperation and Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas (INAE). The choreographers also held workshops in both cities. Two of the leading exponents of international contemporary dance played the same part in this piece. The performance relies on the universe of classical burlesque (Keaton, Chaplin, the Marx brothers), as well as on the stage, the performance and visual arts.
