Ntando Cele (Durban/Berna), «Black Off» en Tempo Festival (Rio de Janeiro) + FETEAG – Festival de Teatro do Agreste (Caruaru, Recife) y FIAC – Festival Internacional de Artes Cênicas (Salvador)

What is the difference between a coloured woman in South Africa and a white woman in Europe? What stereotypes and prejudices does this question raise? Through her white alter-ego «Bianca White», Ntando Cele unravels a series of corrosive clichés to encourage reflection on racial prejudices and their historical roots.

Ntando Cele is interested in recreating complete identities during her performances by combining music, text and videos. Originally from Durban, she has been invited to a number of festivals such as the Belluard Bollwerk, Theaterspektakel Zurich and the Neu\NOW Festival in Amsterdam.
