Research trip of South American editors to Switzerland
Switzerland — Research Trips
«COINCIDENCIA» invited the South American publishing editors Carolina Rey from Reyes Naranjo (Colombia), Alice Sant’Anna from Companhia das Letras (Brazil), Maria Gomez and Santiago Vega alias Washington Cucurto from Eloisa Cartonera (Argentina) and Paula Barria from Metales Pesados (Chile) for a research trip to Switzerland.
From June 25th until June 29th 2018, they met Swiss editors, authors, translators, institutions, etc. The aim of this research trip was to deepen their knowledge about the literary landscape and explore potential future working leads.
These encounters lead to several projects that developed in the frame of «COINCIDENCIA» such as a collaboration between Eloisa Cartonera and several young Swiss authors, which will end up in a new edition of Eloisa Cartonera, dedicated to Swiss texts.
