Sarina Scheidegger at FLORA ars+natura

Colombia — Residencies Studio view, Flora art+natura (c) Sarina Scheidegger

Location

Flora Ars + Natura
Bogota, Colombia
Dates: February-November 2018

Sarina Scheidegger is an artist, writer and editor based in Basel, Switzerland. Her work revolves around the different ways of joined-up working and thinking, as well as developing collaboration projects, having always the text as heart and starting point.  Through her publishing house, Stingray Editions, she works in the textual concept-based performance scene, and in the field of writing, editing and printing.

The starting point of the residency is «Rosa & Louise – A Feminist Manifesto in Dialogues», a project looking at the structures of the feminist discourse through a dialogue being constantly re-written, which has been presented both as performance and a series of posters in eleven different editions over the last four years. The residency at Flora is a space to look deeper into the different forms the project can take, as well as to broaden the perspective on the way feminism if being discussed nowadays, through labs and workshops with new collaborative communities that are engaging in the project: the community of the other artists in residency at Flora, and the communities from the San Felipe and San Luis neighborhoods, where the artist lives and works in Bogota.
