8 December 2018 in Rio de Janeiro at Festival Novas Frequências

9 December 2018 in Porto Alegre at Festival Kinobeat

The Swiss sound artist Bonaventure, also known as Soraya Lutangu, was in Brazil during December 2018 for a tour in three different cities. She performed at the Novas Frequências Festival, in Rio de Janeiro, at the Clube Tormenta in São Paulo and at the Kino Beat Festival in Porto Alegre.

Represented in America by the Discwoman agency and member of the SHAPE network in Europe, the Swiss artist uses electronic music as an identity research tool, along with practical and speculative initiatives to connect her African and European roots and investigate human relationships. Bonaventure develops sonic weaponry designed to confront the oppressive structures of power, telling us stories of violence, indifference and abuse combined with racism.

This project is part of «Incidencias Sonoras: COINCIDENCIA experimental music & sound art platform».
