Experimental music duet made up by Vincent Bertholet (bass, voice, loops and effects) and Simone Aubert (drums, voice, effects), based in Geneva, Switzerland. Hyperculte defines their music as transpop, “prekraut” and post disco.
Hyperculte embarked on their first South American tour thanks to the initiative of Luis Alvarado, founder of the Peruvian record label Buh Records, who invited them to take part in the third edition of Festival Ruidismos, in Lima. The tour also included a performance in the legendary 90s’ hard-core scene Victoria Bar, also in Lima. In Buenos Aires, a concert was organised by experimental artist Hernan Muleiro, aka Black Pope Francis, in the alternative gallery Una Casa; in La Plata, they took part in a feminist event organised by Casa Unclan. In Bogota, they were part of the programme of the 10th anniversary of Matik Matik, a space for experimental music; in Medellin, the concert took place in Victoria Regia, organised by two activists from the local scene: Manuela Tobón y Viviana Ramírez.
